  4. Tom Holland would be a terrible choice. He’ll look like a teenager until he’s 50.

    Cillian Murphy could be interesting. Bit too skinny though.

  8. How hard is it to find a decent white scottish male actor to play James bond, who is a white scottish male character. If you watch Narcos for example they found actors that look incredibly like all of the various real people, yet you’re telling me you cant find one Scottish guy who can play the part and at a push a British guy.

    tom hardy doesnt seem posh enough for me but i think he could pull it off

    idris beats him in charisma imo so i think he would be a great pick

  13. Tom Hardy would be a nice change. Has all that bond has but with a bit of scaldy rough side if he plays it that way. He does a decent scald.

  15. I thought with the last movie the franchise was finished though after no time to die which is brilliant.
    Fassbender would be good, had the size of Connory and can do a good accent.

  16. After seeing him in Luther, I’d have really liked Idris Elba to be the next Bond, but I think he’s more or less ruled himself out at this stage though, hasn’t he? I think he could make a good M when Ralph Fiennes retires the role though.

    I like Tom Hardy, but Bond is supposed to be a “British Gentleman”, and I’ve yet to see Hardy be anything but a kind of “rough and ready” character. It could be an interesting change for him, if he could pull of “Upper Class British Gentleman”, but I just can’t see it. He’d make an excellent long term Bond villain over a couple of films though!

    Personally, if it’s not Idris Elba, I’d like to see Regé-Jean Page get it…. We’ve already seen that he can pull off the “Upper Class British Gentleman” act, and he’s young enough for all the stunts over four or five films.

I hope that you get shampoo in your eyes when you shower, I hope your phone dies when your on an important call, I hope you get caught in a boring conversation, I hope that when you go to eat out they have removed your favourite item from the menu, I hope you step on your dogs paw, I hope all the strings snap on your guitar, I hope there is a peice of food forever stuck between your teeth, I hope the guy on the subway next to your farts, I hope your Toothbrush is crusty and your toothpaste runs out, I hope fridge is empty,

    I do agree bond should be British or at least pull of a convincing British accent.

    To immediately contradict myself, Fassbender would be a good bond.

  31. wasn’t pearse brosnan irish?, sean was scottish too. that being said tom holland is a shit choice, he looks like a teenager and james bond is supposed to be older.
