Florida’s tax system most unfair on poor in US, study shows. ITEP ranked Florida as the most regressive tax system in the US with low-income families paying nearly 5X as much as the wealthy in taxes. Florida and the other “low tax” states “levy some of the nation’s highest tax rates on the poor.”

What tax system? Sales tax? Lottery tickets? There is no income tax in Florida so I don’t know where the poor (or anyone else) are being overtaxed or where newsweek conjured their figures from. The sales and property tax rates in Florida are at or below average for the US. This is a garbage article worth wiping my ass with.
