This company should have had its downfall years ago with all their dodgy practises but there are too many brain dead influencer wannabes in this country that they will continue to buy cheap tat in the hope of being the next Z list Molly Mae.
I had a friend who worked as a graphic designer for them for a year, she said they were a horrible place to work for and wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there
All companies do this shit. I worked for a place designing and creating ejuice, a customer came and wanted a USA flavor for their shops. So I designed and created it and then my boss printed out all the labels for the bottles, with a big MADE IN THE USA, label.
It wasn’t.
I guess the moral of the story is, Just because it said it was made in x, dosnt mean its is.
It was still the best place I have ever worked at.
Fuck these people with their planet destroying clothes, and fuck the morons that actually buy this shit.
This is common & has been for years across brands. They put the LABELS on in the UK, the labrls may even be made in the UK.
This is common for manufacturers.
They will have components made abroad, ship them in to the UK, have someone assemble them into a product then put a “Made in UK” label on it.
To be honest, if I bought some shit cheap clothes that were “made in UK”, I’d either think that they weren’t or that there’d be some serious exploitation going on.
