Can we not? Saudi Arabia is still a repressive shithole that committed a genocide in Yemen. They may have stopped now, but that doesnt mean we should be cool with arming them again.

Meanwhile Turkey gets a no or implicit veto for Eurofighters for antidemocratic practices. I mean, yes, I understand the concern but at least we elect our dictator every five years or so here. Really? Saudi Arabia? The hereditary kingdom with no elections whatsoever and allowed women to drive a few years ago?
Oh yes, Jamal Khashoggi absolutely wasn’t strangled and dismemberd using German fighter jets. So I guess it’s o.k.

Germany doesn’t have enough weapons to support Ukraine, but it has a lot of weapons to sell to Saudi Arabia.
Will Germany ever support any decent government?
Israel has a right to defend itself by cooperating with his current allies like Saudi-Arabia. To guarantee that right, we need to get these weapons to Saudi-Arabia. This is simply about being humanitarian or not.
Honestly, while I will in no way condone the way Saudi Arabia conducted their war in Yemen, I will have to concede that they might have had a good reason to fight in that war.
