I had a dog with same colouring as a kid. Smart and loyal. I would whisper ‘Rabbits’ and point and he knew where to run. He never caught one but he never gave up trying. As a teen I was in trouble with the cops, they came to my house for a statement after a massive gang fight. He sat beside me at the kitchen table and growled for the whole time not taking his eyes off them, and he wasn’t trained to be aggressive to anyone. I wish them all a bright and happy life.
