It’s a shame that more weapons didn’t get to Ukraine in time for this offensive then. Russia is in a position of vulnerability it seems, so having it now would have been extremely cost effective, not to mention how greatly it would reduce Ukrainian losses.

I believe it’s not a ‘mistake’ or ‘hesitation’ that Ukraine is currently not being provided with weapons. Instead, it seems to be a carefully crafted plan to deplete Russia’s fighting capabilities without Ukraine achieving an outright victory.
And Ukraine is playing along nicely, compensating for the lack of arms by putting more people from the streets into the trenches.

Countries do profit from the longevity of this war, while Ukraine and Russia suffer (obviously meaning the good people, being against the war).
A swift success in terms of weapon delivery would ruin someone’s plan somewhere else in profiting in any way.

In case of continuation, neither Russia nor Ukraine can accumulate weapons.

To provide weapons and then to not provide weapons is to effectively waste the weapons you’ve provided. We need a steady stream of weapons and to provide Russia with no respite. Whenever we back off of support, we provide a recovery period to Russia.

Today it’s “Russia is short of weapons, so no pause should be given.” And around and around we go.
The fact remains: Russia the “superpower” turning to third-rate powers like Iran and North Korea is a sign of weakness, not strength. They have zero capability to attack even beyond Ukraine, never mind engaging NATO.
Nato and the U.S.A are the best in the world. Ukraine 🇺🇦 is still standing on their own because of them. Russia has stockpiles of weapons as well but dwindling.
I get that but I feel like I have also read that some Ukraine units have been in active contact with the Russians for months…. those dudes need a breather or they will break.
