Well, you could essentially use the pepper as an oven glove…
Cut it in half, clutch one half in each hand and carefully clamp the hot baking trays between two halves of smouldering pepper to get them out, sorted. It’s the way we did it back in the old country
Think of the poor person who got an oven glove instead of their yellow pepper. That’s gonna be a well shit curry.
The words ‘glove’ and ‘yellow’ both contain ‘lo’, and all words contain at least one e. I’d say that’s pretty close.
Does Asda give you the option to specify acceptable replacements when ordering, including none at all? If not, I am beginning to understand why I pay a bit more for Waitrose.
I’ve never ordered groceries online – can you tell them not to make substitutes if they don’t have what you want?
Why buy a yellow pepper? I get that Greens are best for certain currys and red for pasta dishes but yellow??
