4. Good movie that men won’t accept was just fast and furious with women. I saw FF spinoff Hobbs and Shaw, and it’s basically the same quality of movie. Wonder why they aren’t constantly making articles about FF movies being trash

5. She was the wrong choice for the movie so I’m not surprised she didn’t like making it. It’s not against her or the movie. She’s not a terrible actress or anything. But she doesn’t really seem to have fun in these popcorn flick type of films (also didn’t seem to enjoy filming Twilight or Snow White) and that translates to her performances. She’s good in Indie stuff

8. Charlie’s Angels (2000) came out during the heyday of 70s pop culture being revisited and cast three popular actresses that had great chemistry. The new Charlie’s Angels didn’t have any of that.

10. I knew this movie sucked when I saw Kristen Stewart in it. She has the acting ability of a thumb from spy kids 😂

15. Taking one look at the thumbnail tells me everything I need to know about how bad this idea was, why remake Charlie’s angels and change it to something that doesn’t resemble it at all. Just make your own movie.

21. Loved the OG series and McG movies, even enjoyed the reboot series from 2012.
    But this movie was just joyless, the USP was essentially “it’s like the other movies but without the fun, action and comedy”.

    I appreciate that this movie wasn’t made for me (30smth, straight white male) but I don’t know anyone who likes it

24. My girlfriend and I were so excited for this movie but it was not it 😫. I remember there was a montage showing how *woman can do things too 💪*, we whispered to each other that it looked like a tampon commercial.

33. The og Charlie’s Angels is known for its over the top,loud,extrovert energy. When someone like Kristen Stewart is playing the remake’s most extrovert character (iirc),it’s failure makes sense (nothing against Stewart,but the casting choice).

    The villains of og series were as memorable as the heroines. I can’t even remember who plays the villain in the new one.

    Charlie’s Angels is not known for its brilliant plot or dialogues,but the amazing chemistry between the actors and the way of storytelling that is so stylish and oozes sexiness in every shot. The remake looked like a teen show that airs on CW.

    The og Angels were the epitome of ‘beauty with brains’. Like what can’t they do?! The remake,instead of showing how these women are multidimensional,focused on reminding us every 3 seconds about how they can do what men can do,but better.

    And the soundtrack? Who the hell had the bright idea to put Ariana,Miley and Lana in a song together? A better soundtrack would have helped the movie a bit but no. If you are gonna have a mediocre track list,then atleast make up for it in other departments like Barbie did.

    The outfits? Jesus,you can be feminists while wearing amazing outfits. Feminism ≠ wearing boring outfits. The outfits of the Angels are as loud & colorful as their personalities are.
