  1. I feel broken, physically and mentally. This sh*t show has been going on for way too many years. They just won’t stop. Seventy percent of the country does not want this. The other 30 percent love it. Is this the definition of fascism?

  2. Control your client or I am going to yell at you again, and again, and again….. because I don’t really have the guts to throw him in jail for contempt.

  3. Trump is an “innocent man” like I’m a three-headed NASA astronaut who has walked on Mars. Good job, Judge!

  4. I’m so tired and so sick of this. At what point does this asshole face consequences?

  5. This just happened:
    > Trump attorney Chris Kise asked Judge Arthur Engoron to allow Trump to speak on his own behalf **after the judge rescinded permission** for the former president to deliver part of his closing argument because Kise objected to preconditions that Trump keep to “relevant” matters.

    And what did he do…?
    > Engoron asked Trump if he would be willing to stick to the facts and the law **but Trump launched into a rant without agreeing to the terms.**

JFC. This judge give Trump a second and third chance to do it the right way, and he *immediately* goes off the rails:

    > “Well I think, your honor, this case goes outside the facts,” Trump said

That’s not a thing in courtrooms Donny. It’s the facts and nothing but the facts.

  6. > “Well I think, your honor, this case goes outside the facts,” Trump said

Yes your honor! I’m telling you it was the unicorn’s fault all along!

  7. Isn’t this the case where Trump is already deemed guilty and now they’re just defining the penalty?

The one with no jury, meaning the judge will be deciding the outcome?

  8. “The financial statements were perfect.”

The statements that he also said can’t be used against him because of a disclaimer he calls a “worthless clause?”

    They are perfect…

…but even if they are not then it doesn’t matter because one paragraph says that banks shouldn’t rely on our statements…

…and if they did then that’s their fault for trusting that we wouldn’t lie to them…

  9. TRUMP: “HYULLLL! HYULLLLL! WORD VOMIT HYULLL!”

    JUDGE: “CONTROL YOUR CLIENT”

    LAWYER: Looks at Trump.

    TRUMP: “HYULL!!”

LAWYER: Looks to Judge like, ‘how the fuck do you ‘control’ the Anti-Christ?’

  10. Engoron should have held him in Contempt and let him spend a night or three behind bars.

  11. I thought he was denied talking? Then to let him talk and then not to stop him the moment he goes off facts. Then to let him have the full amount of time. Yeah I think the whole stink could have been prevented…

  12. I really don’t know what is worse – the fact I have to hear about him over and over or that his actions are so damned predictable?

  13. Hold him in fucking contempt and arrest him just like EVERY other citizen that would sit in court!!!

  14. The leading GOP candidate for president melts down *in court* during the closing arguments in a fraud hearing, and one of the top posts on r/conservative is a shitty meme about gas prices

  15. I swear this ape has no frontal lobe, no filter, zero impulse control. Traits that have suited perfectly with his megalomaniac need to always get his way. And yet his ‘fans’ think this is toughness. Nope. Just a freaking spoiled brat.

  16. >Engoron kept his head down for the duration of Trump’s outburst, according to ABC News, which added that the judge “then held up his phone screen to signal to Trump that he had run out of time for his remarks…

Judge was laughing on the inside while timing him.

  17. >”Well I think, your honor, this case goes outside the facts,” Trump said

    1. Trump states what is a fact: he lives outside of reality because he writes the script.

    2. I believe professional rage of the most bitter kind for defiling the judiciary professional dignity is going to get him. He is going way too far and getting more oblivious to himself all the time.

The thing is way beyond nuance. You can push people just so far and judges are in a special place in our society whether we admire a particular one or not. You can’t keep on the way Trump has indefinitely IMO.

  18. Real privelege is defying a judge while facing nearly 100 felonies and not just instantly being held in contempt. Judges have held people in contempt facing misdemeanors, the fact that he can do so while facing 50 plus years is fucking insane.

  19. These lawyers keep arguing that there was no Fraud- when in fact this trial is not about that. They already found him liable for Fraud. This entire trial was just about what the penalty is going to be.

  20. More outrageous bullshit tolerated by a fragile rich white man that would get anyone else who isn’t as privileged dragged out of court by the bailiffs.

  21. I hope I live long enough to see this clown face some kind of real consequence for once in his life.

  22. He just cannot cope with the fact that he’s being held accountable for something. He actually thinks he doesn’t do anything wrong and if you point something out to him that he did that was wrong, then you’re the bully and he hates you. Look at how he hates every single person who speaks out against him.

It’s just wild that not only is he a bad person, he’s also insanely childish in how he views the world and his place in it.
