Are they using a Steam deck as a controller for that turret??
I may have seen a photo of the barrel but was unable to determine the weapon. This is definitely the biggest weapon I have seen Ukraine put on the robotic turret.
Since the turret can support a .50 BMG M2, it should be able to support a .50 BMG Barrett. Wonder if they could make a 30 round Barret clip. 🤔🤔🤔
Be cool to see if they could mount a M19 automatic grenade launcher.
But still need a soldier to clear the jam, reload or troubleshoot. But at least that soldier will be safe from direct fire.
Now put this on a low profile UGV, then you could provide fire support for trench clearing.
Make it smaller and more lightweight, use a bigger UAV to drop it on the battlefield, instant fire support for critical battles. eheeh
*Happy John Browning noises*
A little armor plate in front of the optics with just a hole big enough for the scope to see through might improve survivability.
So I keep seeing these innovations being made in Ukraine, but I never see footage of them being used on the front. Not trying to be a jerk, but what is up with that?
Although the M2 Browning gives me a mayor hard on, it is a 1918 design. The USA should be able to provide something more modern in number.
In Russia, Steam Deck kills YOU!
I never see it move to aim? It seems like it is just firing at a single point.
Would be nice to see how well it can articulate that .50 cal
The future of the Ukraine war in a short video. In a good position you need a lot of men to storm the trench.
What’s the point of having a robotic machine gun if you’re standing right next to it
I saw somewhere that they had already used a similar system in the Avdiivka region. just to the south, near the restaurant and a bridge..But I can’t say more.
It can be controlled remotely potentially as far as 1-2km, has thermal vision and the soldier can enter the coordinates or direction, where they want to concentrate the fire. It can fire as far as two kilometers.
The only thing the user has to do is know how to operate and troubleshoot the system.
The main purpose of this system is to reduce human casualties and offer protection for the soldiers.
(Rough translation of the part where he described technical characteristics).
Put it on a drone.
Meet the engineer!
I’ve been wanting to see robot home vacuum cleaners turned into smart mines.
Then they don’t have to wait for vehicles to find them, they can crawl out in front of them when they’re needed.
Set them up to be controlled by reconnaissance / observation drones.
Walter white did it first

If AFU would be able to set up these machine guns at the front and make it ‘pay-to-play’ through a platform – that would make money.
“Ma Duece” was first introduced in 1933 ! Basically unchanged for 90 + years and still Protecting Freedom and Kicking this Shit out of Bad Guys around the World !
God Bless John Browning !
Disguise it as a toilet. “Free onions” sign out front.
