Château Le Fy, Hainaut province

  1. Château Le Fy is located in the small town of Esneux. It was built between 1904-1905 by Paul Saintenoy for Jean-Edouard Jules Van Parys, son-in-law of Ernest Solvay. During the occupation of Belgium in World War II it was used as a German command center, and then later in 1944 American officers were stationed here.
