Prince Harry to be Honoured as ‘Living Legend of Aviation’

Prince Harry will be honoured at this year’s 21st Annual Living Legend of Aviation Awards for his work as a British Army veteran and pilot.
 
The event will be held in California next Friday and will see the Prince inducted along with other well-known aerospace pioneers and figures.
 
The Duke of Sussex had been deployed on two tours in Afghanistan as a forward air controller and an Apache helicopter pilot.

Shame on you John Travolta. No credibility for John or the organization. Along side some of the real legends, Harry's name tarnishes their accomplishments. 😡🙋🏻‍♀️🇺🇸

  13. He's a legend only in his own mind, and he certainly is no pioneer of aviation. He couldn't even pass the tests necessary to become a pilot, for heavens' sake!
    So, who is kissing his behind?
    This is exactly like Edward and Wallis all over again, only tackier.
    He and Meggo aren't royals either. They chose to step away from all that.
    Their titles should be stripped so a new, better Duke and Duchess can be chosen to properly represent Sussex, because the Harkles certainly do not.

  14. What a SHAM!! So blatant, so ridiculous, so pathetic and so desperate!! This silly "award" is now the equivalent of the ridiculous "participation ribbon" award. Mediocrity and minimum effort/performance should never ever be glorified and awarded because it just feeds and fuels the self-centered narcissist and their delusions of grandeur, jealousy and raging resentments.

  15. Harry was not awarded this, it was bought (allegedly). H, M or their agencies have "arranged" for awards in the past to make these two look good without doing anything to deserve it. This highlights once again how unethical H, M and their agency is. To take this award away from someone who truly deserves it and give it to a grifter and a deadbeat is truly a vile act.

  16. Lies and more lies. How did he shoot 25 Taliban from the pilot seat – wouldn't it have been from the gunner seat? Setting up the Invictus Games was very much a team effort with William, Ministry of Defense, Sir Keith Mills and the British Olympic team along with staff members being involved. This is an insult to genuine pilots.

    That's not what the Invictus website says.

    The Invictus games was an initiative of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in partnership with the Ministry of defence. The event is being organised by a specially formed committee supported by the delivery team from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It was headed up by Sir Keith Mills who was the chairman and CEO of the Olympic and Paralympic games of 2012. In 2014 with his experience from being the chairman and CEO of those games, HE (NOT HARRY) established and became the chairman Of the Invictus Games.

  29. What a travesty!! If Harry gets this award im ashamed of all of you. I'm sure he paid a great deal of money to the charity and that I am happy for them but everything started in the bio is a lie except for the fact that he was in the service for 10 yrs. If push comes to shove prince Andrew is much more deserving and would not look the slightest bit worse. He at least really did save lives.

  40. Why not awards for the biggest crybaby or liar? I wonder how much that award cost. The bigest liar award would be a huge huge event.

  41. I usually just shake my head at these two but if this award is true it must be some illigitament and lame award. I can't imagine H getting an award for anything.
