Are they finally ready for service? They’ve been having tons of mechanical issues.
Rode it on Tuesday. There’s a LOT to like about them, and I can’t wait for the improved capacity / performance. There’s also (IMO) some nicely though through details – e.g. no tip down seats in the bike storage areas, to reduce the likelihood that they’re blocked when people get on with bikes.
But my goodness the window seats are very cramped – more so than the 455s and even the 707s. I’m very average size and it’s hard to sit comfortably on them without spilling onto the adjacent seat.
