And he intends to enforce this… how? Those people are living outside of Ukrainian jurisdiction. His government has no power in those countries. This is just increasing the odds that these people will never return.
If Ukrainians aren’t willing to fight on the frontlines, and potentially get injured or killed, Russia will rule Ukraine.
Those that fled are willing to let Russia rule Ukraine because they aren’t willing to put their lives on the line, or contribute Ukraine financially.

I actually think that is a good deal. I was listening to someone the other day explaining why, not all Ukranian’s could stay and fight. For example, some people had wives and children overseas.
But sending back taxes to help pay for the war effort, is totally reasonable.
For the same reason, I totally support the Uk sending Ukraine whichever weapons we can. it is a great use of my taxes.
Already donated way more money than i would pay in taxes, and theres way higher probably that money i donated will not be stolen, unlike taxes
