If anyone watches popular YouTuber Isaac Arthur, his wife is a state Republican house representative supporting taking abortion rights away from women, ignoring the ballot initiative that passed to give abortion rights to women in Ohio, and she cosponsored and help write the bill that took rights away from trans kids.
The guy’s wife cannot even handle transgender people existing. How this guy has a YouTube channel talking about transhumanism and cyborgs is insane. There is zero chance that he doesn’t also the views his wife does. How could you marry someone that evil if you did not also hold those opinions.
Abortion rights are on the ballot in November. Republicans will not stop until abortion is illegal everywhere in the country. We have to organize and r/votedem to stop them.
This was always a concern, when abortions are outlawed, every miscarriage is a potential crime scene.
But that doesn’t stop the government from completely invading her privacy and then broadcasting it to the world.
Imagine the horror she had to go through in her house….then to get charged for a crime for it

Maybe the worst story I have read on Reddit. ‘Outrage’ indeed, but not at this suffering woman who first had to risk death since the fetus could not be removed, then had to suffer a miscarriage, then was humiliated and attacked by the prosecutors for absurd reasons.
History will not look kindly on this era of American history. Who in their right minds thinks that the culture war that the far right is forcing upon us all should extend to a person undergoing one of the worst events imaginable?
Never in my life did I think when I was in college almost 40 years ago that America would be more socially modern at that time then now. I have so many things to say about this, but doubt anyone has enough time to read, or that I can even fully express the outrage I have for this.
Abortion is now constitutionally protected in Ohio too, and they still did this.

Grand juries are so reliable for being ruled in favour of a prosecutor that it’s said that they can get a ham sandwich indicted by one. Yet here we are. Beyond disgusting that this was even brought to one to begin with.

Fellow Floridians, know this. We have enough signatures to put this issue on the ballot so we can directly undo what our state Republicans have done to abortion rights in the state.
Remember, a majority of Floridians, including Republicans, support abortion rights. Don’t let the religious extremists run our state!
It has to go through the state Supreme Court before it can go on the ballot. I know the nutters have a majority now, but it will be difficult for them to find a coherent reason why this shouldn’t go on the ballot as many issues have before. Be prepared to raise hell if they don’t follow the law.
And they had to humiliate, denigrate, and drag her personal trauma publicly through the mud. I hope everyone involved that was out to get her gets the future days they deserve for that bullshittery.
