The reason Europe could invest in Infrastructure and Health Care is bc our security apparatus is built by the US. US is our ally and should always be but, nobody wants to have a weak friend (EU). So, the more we arm now, the better for all partiws involved

Price for a Patirot missile according to wikipedia is for the Pac-2 version 0,8-2 Mio €.
The new deal says 5 Billion € for 1000 missiles, makes 5 Mio € per missile. Why are they more than twice as expensive???
Whatever it takes to get the factories actually making more, getting the equipment, setting up the production lines, and hiring workers. If things go further to shit we’ll need that capacity, badly…
But I’ve heard that the S-400 is just as good, far cheaper, and definitely won’t send your air defense information to Moscow.
If patriot systems are so available, that probably means US army tech has moved to next level 10-20 years ago.
