Can someone explain how the scheme worked? Even with my really limited knowledge of how TV awards are given I cannot comprehend one bit how the fake name submission and giving out the re-engraved awards to TV hosts work.
Title is kind of misleading. They legitimately won the Emmys, they just used fake names to get extra statues for on air talent.
