The order of Hero of Ukraine
“Senior Lieutenant Abramovich died on August 14, 2014 in a battle near the urban-type settlement of Nikiforovo, Donetsk region. The T-64 tank, under his command, covering the retreat of wounded servicemen from the checkpoint, entered into an unequal battle with enemy tanks. During the battle, Senior Lieutenant Abramovich’s tank rammed a T-72 tank, which was moving towards him at breakneck speed. As a result of the collision, the ammunition of the Ukrainian tank detonated.”
