Hi, i just moved in a new apartment and its relative old with pre installed lights.

One of the lights on the bathroom doesnt function. I ask for help to my Hausmeister but he responded that it is not part of his job.

I bought a new light but the sockets for the wires are only 2. i checked the old light and it has 3 wires.

Any idea how to deal with this and how to handle the extra wire?

  1. Brown is L, Blue is N, you can ignore Green/yellow on this one, that is the protective earth but your lamp doesn’t seem to need it
