Hi,
I ordered some things and now 2 times in a row DHL sent my package back. Did this happen to someone here? Why did they sent it back?

  1. “Requirements for delivery not met”.

Is it something you have to sign or pay upon arrival?

  2. Did you make sure, you have a valid Packstation account and used the right address formatting? Also some kind of packages can’t be send to packstation – e.g. if age verification is needed

  3. Thanks everyone for your responses, I will call DHL today to know more and will let you know why did they returned my packages

  4. It means that the sender tried to send your package in a way that are unacceptable according to DHL’s ToS and the postage they paid.

So e.g. it may have been too big or too heavy.
It may also be that for whatever they sent you need to pay a surcharge for bulky goods. This applies to anything that can’t be reliably handled by their automatic sorting and transportation infrastructure. E.g., if you wrap it in tape too well. If two thirds of a package are covered in tape it becomes bulky goods.

Edit: It is at least possible that that’s not necessarily *true* for your particular package. But it’s what the person rejecting the package *claims* to be the case for that package.
