Remember when you only got a few attempts and then you were stuck with that for the next 10 years?
I just took a selfie in front of a white wall. The forward facing cameras on modern phones are more than good enough for passport photos.
Last time, my son’s went through no problem, but try as I might I couldn’t get a photo of my daughter that the website would accept. After loads of failed uploads, and two that were accepted by the site but rejected a few hours later , we ended up doing the PhotoMe Walk Of Shame at Morrisons…
Oddly, have had no problems with the rest of them.
I was pleasantly surprised doing my passport. From starting to receiving the passport was just over a week
The real trick is to go into a photo booth and then use your phone to take a selfie. Perfect backdrop and lighting.
I like what you’ve done with your hair.
The trick is just to stick your kid sat or lying in front of a white background, and record a video of them. Then you can just scroll through every frame on your iPhone until you find a decent one rather than trying to get a perfect snapshot.
As an adult I’ve been recycling the same photo between my passport and driving licences for 3 renewals now so no need for a “new” photo as each one just takes my existing photo from the other.
