Look, I know I go on about this stuff all the time but it’s painfully obvious we mollycoddle drivers.
If you break the speed limit during your test, it’s a major fault and you fail. If you break the speed limit FOUR TIMES in as many months, you get a slap on the wrist and are temporarily banned from driving for two months. After that, you can keep going.
Also: LOLOLOLOL 20mph zones don’t work, London is at a standstill because of LTNs blah blah blah

Remember that most speedos overestimate your speed by 5-10%. If you’re driving at 28mph in a 30 zone your speedo will be showing 30mph+, if you’re driving at 46mph in a 40 zone, your speedo will be showing 50mph+.
The A316 has been 40 miles an hour through Twickenham for over 15 years and there’s repeater signs all the way along. There’s zero excuse.

I passed my test in (I think) 2007. The same year I was caught speeding and went and did a course. Never happened since. How do you get caught 4 times in 4 months?
