  1. Calling the Ukraine war a big mistake by Putin is a big mistake by Russian election candidate.

    RIP

  2. How long till he falls out a window or accidentally drinks radioactive tea ?

  3. “Election candidate” – as if there is even a thread of legitimacy to Russian elections.

  4. So sorry to hear his upcoming obituary.

Windows are so dangerous in Russia.

  5. So ! window accident, radioactive tea, or educationcamp in Siberia. One of the three within 2 months!  Taking ur bets now!

  6. Reddit really gone downhill. From 10 comments only one is actually about the candidate and the election the rest are the same window and tea jokes you see in every thread.

I wish him good luck in the election and hope for russia to change in the coming decade, so everyone in ukraine can have a peaceful life.

  7. If you think he is independent you are very naive. He is just a muppet

  8. I too like to live on the edge, but buddy, not that edge

  9. And tomorrow he’s gonna be found at bottom of a 3 story window after an apparent suicide

  10. Isn’t that the criticizing guy on those fake russian TV debates? Definitely a Kremlin puppet for testing waters.

  11. “De-fen-es-tra-tion, no breathing, don’t give a fuck if my family sees me”

  12. Russian here.

I wish people would stop with these stupid window/tea jokes – for two reasons. One, because people are projecting more power onto Putin than he has (just as it was with Russian hackers or bought Republicans/Orban/etc. Apparently, Russia can hack and buy the entire world).

Second, because there is no reason to kill the candidates. You can just cut them off when they don’t gather enough signatures to run for presidency.

I definitely think he is far better than all the other candidates (which include Putin, a 76-year-old communist, a known woman harasser, and a pro-Kremlin pseudo-liberal candidate).

As for happens to him, I see three options:

One, he becomes sufficiently popular and then gets stopped at the signature collection stage.

Second, he doesn’t become popular, is allowed to run, gets 1-2%, and then Putin comes out and says “well, we have an anti-war candidate, that is his result”

Three – something unexpected happens similar to Belarus, with mass protests out of nowhere.

If he gets through though, I’m definitely voting for him.

  13. I’d stick to the single story buildings if I were him.

  14. Russian election candidate will either be disqualified. Or fall out a window. Or both.

  15. How many days until he mysteriously jumps from a balcony?

  16. How long before he has an accidental fall from 10th floor?

  17. I’m willing to bet money on who will be Putins next lucky candidate to mysteriously “fall out a window”.
