1. While I’d have to see the exact text of the agreement to determine how effective it is, this is still a major “escalation” by the Brits, legally binding themselves to supporting Ukraine until the latter is in NATO no matter what Muscovy does and how the war goes.

   No doubt Medevev will white about “red lines” and launching tsunami nukes at the East of England, the drunken c@nt.

4. Binding, relevant, sufficient security guarantees in the interim period between any ceasefire and EU/NATO alliance protections being ratified is a vitally important notion, and probably the most difficult thing to do.

   Russia fully reaslizes that Ukraine in its entirety is lost – forvever. And that once they are EU/NATO members, that is it – there will be no more land, resource of population grabs for what has been the most fruitful part of their empire for 1,000 years. Ukraine was not called the USSR’s Brain or the world’s bread basket for nothing. And therefore – they will likely continue this war in some form for many more years, until there is a credible risk of NATO membership protections.

   The lost opportunity here for Russia is hard for us in the West to grasp. Ukraine’s value to Russia as a colony to abuse and exploit is an ancient and vital idea in the Russian mind. Ukraine is the meat shield against the Atlanticists. It contains the industrial, technical, intellectual, demographic and agricultural capacity that offsets the deficiencies of the lower value colonies to the east, and what enriches the barbarian princes of St. Petes/Moscow that rule their petromafia kleptocracy. It keeps the goon squads paid, the yachts fuelled, the saunas hot, the vodka cold, the caviar fresh and the mistresses sufficiently bribed to stop complaining quite so much.

   **TL:DR – Russia is all in. They are NOT going to stop trying to attack Ukraine until they become active NATO members, the army mutinies, or Putin dies.**
