> …O’Sullivan, who has also finished Masters runner-up six times, said: “I just don’t like this place. I find it disgusting.
> “Everywhere is dirty. It’s cold. It’s freezing, I have to wear my coat everywhere. You go through car parks. There are bins. Honestly, it just makes me feel ill.
> “I’m a bit of a clean freak and when I come in here it gives me the heebie-jeebies. I just can’t wait to get out of here.”
I mean, he not’s *totally* wrong, but it’s not that bad!
Guy’s won over £0.5M prize money in 2023-24 alone.
I’d put up with a lot for that money.
Good old Ronnie. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a tremendous snooker player, but he’s a bit of a diva
It’s a beautiful building but shit otherwise. He’s not wrong
I’m with him on this. It breaks my heart that it’s the go to venue for bands too big for Brixton academy (when it was open) and too small for the O2. The sound is pitiful, the view is almost always rubbish and it’s such an annoyingly complicated journey to get there from SE London – and even worse when trying to get home at 11:30pm. In recent years I’ve just gone to Brighton to see bands instead (when that’s an option).
Yeah, just looking at the outside is enough to make anyone feel ill. Probably the ugliest building in Europe.
