Martin Scorsese Would Love To Coax Daniel Day-Lewis Out Of Retirement: “Maybe There’s Time For One More?”

  4. Oh man, I’ve only just recently seen the light of Mr Day-Lewis and I would love this.

  5. Scorsese is done. Not worth Daniel’s talent to work with him.

  6. My favourite film is ‘There Will Be Blood’.

    For so many reasons. Radiohead being my favourite band. PTA my favourite director. Yadda yadda yadda. DDL’s performance in that movie goes beyond any I have, or will ever see.

    So, coax that fucker out of retirement. He has one left in him. Maybe he can play himself, and method act as Daniel Day-Lewis?

  8. Bill the Butcher is my favorite Scorsese “character” and he struck gold having Daniel Day Lewis portray him.

  9. Would have to be as good a role as he had for him before which is probably the toughest part. I think DDL would consider a part that called to him enough.

    Age of Innocence is almost never discussed on any of the movie/tv subs when I see Scorsese talk and it’s too bad. Michelle Pfeiffer was excellent also.
