  1. The orange toddler has been shooting himself in the foot for years. Nothing happened and I’ve yet to see any gold.

Really like to see him convicted and jailed for his crimes. I’ll even pay for the orange jumpsuit, fat size.

    Not holding my breath.

  2. Truthfully, I doubt his outburst will make much of a difference, if at all, in the judges decision.

  3. The walls have been “closing in” for 8 years now.

  4. Since he heaved his sweaty, obese, grotesque Oompa-Loompa-coloured mass, wheezing and gurgling into the political spotlight, he’s been saying extremely damaging things *constantly*.

He openly admitted to grabbing women by the puss, sexually assaulting them, for example. Right at the beginning! That’s just the warmup round!

Any one of his comments should have ended his political career. Instead his based loved it and elevated him for it. He has committed *so many crimes*, including attempting to literally over-throw the government!

Until I see that man in a jumpsuit that matches his makeup and locked in a cell, I will not believe that he is going to face any serious repercussions whatsoever.

Prove me wrong. I beg you to prove me wrong.

  5. I think his decision will be severely damaging to trump, get appealed, go up for appeal, etc., but that will not be the end of it for Judge Engoron. I imagine he’s going to have to look over his shoulder for the rest of his life, thanks to insane MAGA cult members.

  6. Unfortunately, Trump doesn’t know right from wrong and that any attention in the news is free advertising for his grift.

  7. Is there a detailed list of all the worst things he’s said that damaged him?

I know practically everything he says leaves a bigger shit stain on his name, but I’d like to see the most damaging quotes.

  8. In this and every thread about trump there are a ton of comments like “and yet nothing will happen” which appear like clockwork. If I were a propagandist who wanted to sew despair and hopelessness this is the exact type of comment I would make.

Edit: appreciate replies, I’m not prolly gonna respond individually. Couple thoughts: if you truly believe that “nothing will ever be done” then how are we even here? Why would you bother wasting the electrons and keystrokes saying it over and over nearly every time news comes out? Can you see that some of us are recognizing a growing momentum toward finally hold this person accountable for crimes committed in plain sight, and that this continued worry-warting bologna serves to detract from the very effort you claim to support? Saying “nothing will happen” gives cover for, guess what, nothing happening.

  9. If you ever wondered what a 7 year old’s tantrum in an 80 year old’s body looks like, there ya’ go.

  10. I have so many peers that have praised his assaults. Donald Trump is the retribution that a bunch of alternative age group feels they need to correct my generation. They’re pissed, poor, and have entitlement.

  11. “Honest mistake.” Being off by 10-20 sq ft is a mistake. Claiming 3x the sq ft is just plain fraud.

  12. “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

  13. The fact that he blatantly and consistently say damning and damaging things on a daily basis doesn’t mean anything. At this point Frump does it solely to oversaturate the market so to speak. Making it so no matter what he says it’s all so f’in bonkers that it out trumps itself, yet never makes real sense. And at any point in time you can go back and pull something up that will again start the process all over. Just sitting here waiting for them to finish is taking ages off my life lol.

  14. What I have learned really what has changed in America is that information and news have become so targeted, so warped and has happened so long it has changed large amounts of our populations beliefs. The same tools created to control advertising and buying trends, were warped by media, corporations and governments to create information bubbles, it took decades and was a slow process, but now we are seeing the full effects of this on our culture. If you want evidence of this just go to a rural area and listen to what they have on the radio, what their news is like, then see their Facebook feed, what they see on Google or news, it’s not at all the same information and it’s target to divide and shape their beliefs. This great AI like ChatGPT is not magically new, it was invented 10 years ago by corporations like black rock to take over the world and stock market, they locked all that technology away from the public, they used this content and knowledge to shape this narrative. We didn’t just magically create such an amazing AI it evolved and finally came out to the public, but the rich and powerful had this and have shaped the world for the last 10 years, controlling the market and feeding the content to divide. Imagine the AI that governments and black rock have, which are 10-20 years beyond what we are seeing now, imagine that capability to shape wealth and power, and the only conclusion you have is the state we are in now.

  15. Come on ,doncha know, Traitor Trump and the seditionist Republicons think laws don’t apply to them.

  16. It’s baffling to me that anyone can see Trump constantly whining like an absolute baby and somehow sees strength.

  17. At no time have Trumps attorneys said he is innocent of the charges against him. Instead they have put forward argument’s that attempt to justify his fraudulent conduct. This is an unworkable strategy because he has already been found guilty. All that remains is the price he will pay for his intentional deceit.

  18. The continual avoidance of consequences to abhorrent behavior for the last 7 or 8 years, I’d guess.

  19. So it turns out that meme of him yelling “YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!” in the courtroom was accidentally more apt than intended

(In the movie, the baddie yells that line during a courtroom rant that proves his guilt. In the meme, Trump is supposed to look heroic saying it, so I assume the meme was made by a troll)

That said, the headline is misleading. No-one “struck gold”, the rant just reduced his grounds for appeal (which would likely be doomed anyway) in exchange for feeding his base the garbage he wants them to eat. For all we know that tradeoff is worthwhile to him. He also planned the rant in court as a way to get his message amplified nationwide, and here we are spreading it and upvoting these breathless articles about it and amplifying him, doing his work for him like chumps

  20. Everything Trump says about all these cases are lies to just solidify his base. He’s still claiming he didn’t get a jury and not mentioning it was because of his lawyer’s fuck up. I’m tired of him being allowed to just run around saying shit unchecked.

  21. Just clarifying for those saying “his base doesn’t care what he says.” The article isn’t suggesting that Trump’s statement will be damaging to his public image. It’s saying that it will be damaging to this case and judgement.

  22. So sick and tired of these types of headlines. Until he’s behind bars, please f*cking spare us.

  23. Trump is so easily goaded. He has no self control and anyone with an ounce of strategy can outplay him by taking advantage of his thin-skinned narcissistic tendencies. In situations where his cult of right-wing weirdos and his legion of propagandists is neutralized, it becomes clear what a weak-minded buffoon he is.

Even if you had absolutely 0 morals and only voted out of pure self interest, this right here is why no one should want Trump in charge of the US. It’s a massive liability on the international stage to have him in charge, because every one of our enemies can easily outplay him.

  24. if you want to feel truly depressed, have a look at trumps approval on 538.

its higher now than its been in years…..

i would suggest prepping for him being the next president, stuff just isnt working.

  25. I will admit something was damaging for Trump when he actually faces some consequences. So far I am not seeing any and I have lost almost all hope of that happening.
