I’m glad he’s now in jail and I hope the victim gets all the support she needs.
But we also need to recognise that crimes committed by non-Brits or BAME, especially sexual crimes, tend to be overreported and overly focused by the media and the wider public. Often, rape or sexual assault cases would only be reported if there’s a “unique element” to it, like if children are involved, or a policeman, or a gang, and unfortunately, the perpetrator being a non-Brit or BAME is often one of these criteria to be worthy of report.
Charged with battery and now rape since he has been here, wanker should be flown straight back to Sudan after he leaves prison, with a permanent ban on ever coming back here.
Flee a civil war and then rape somebody, what a great way to pay back the country that took you in. Can’t understand why anyone is tired of this

There was a hell of a lot missing from the BBC article, which doesn’t surprise me. The amount of sex crimes committed by newly arrived migrants is quite frankly astonishing. Obviously not worth a protest though!
Right… So will serve 4 years. What an absolutely pathetic justice system. When he’s out, 28 and with a criminal record on the sex offender register – he’s not going to be able to contribute or integrate, even if he wanted to. However bad this women feels now, it’ll be worse in 4 years knowing he’s out after serving such a short sentence.
Sorry, but this will continue until common sense inserts itself back into British politics

We need to look into his immigration status. If he is not a British citizen, he needs to be sent back to where he came from. Only then, will he not be a threat to women.
