boo hoo they just decided to declare that a genocide is occuring in another country and now they’re getting lightly smacked in their bums, noo we must forever cry at this erosion of our values ;( (
when are you absolute baffoonish idiots going to realize that lithuania is literally just making an economic specialization as the world center of reactionary westernchauvinist ideologies. its profoundly unimportant stuff
Did Lithuania made foreign policy decisions on their own?
Lithiumians deliberately provoked the Chinese by contesting territorial integrity of the PRC. They should learn not to be willful pawns in an imperialist game. Otherwise they should bear the consequences of their geopolitical foolishness.
“China bad | Learn to live with covid”
This is what the US media that own Biden are pushing now . Also, war with russia. They are almost entirely predictable

Lithuania did this to themselves, so yes, they can stand alone. I’m sure Taiwan can wave a few more bills.
If the EU can stand together on this issue as a whole we will be able to protect all the smaller states vulnerable to this aggressive kind of action in the future. Not to mention promote dialogue on a belligerent and reactionary China on a global level.
If this can happen it is a small step in the right direction.
Your daily “let’s go to war with China” thread, brought to you by the main taiwan bot personally.
Even though, currently there is a lot of debate regarding that, some business crying their eyes out and asking for money, I still wish that the government will stand their ground.
Those same business had relief packages for Covid pandemic, and instead of using the money to help its workers, bought luxury cars and houses. So yeah.
We had the same when we did the sanctions on Russia, at first a lot of crying, bunch of business blaming government for ruining people lives, but in reality – it only sped up the economy. And mind you, our exports with Russia are still about 12 times larger then with China.
Am I the only one tired of reading about this whole Lithuania-Taiwan situation here? Looks like that only reason to post it here is to show superiority over China which sounds silly.
60% view it negatively or very negatively. Only 13% approve. Explains why their president recently went out and contradicted their government. They don’t have domestic support, just acting at the behest of the USA.
Hopefully this doesnt become normal where countries can just piss off superpowers and just get the EU to save its ass. Lithuania told noone that it was doing this but we in the end have to help because of our common market. We really need to set up some stricter rules
>Nearly two thirds of the public do not support Lithuania’s current policy on China, a survey commissioned by the Foreign Ministry shows.
Should EU stand with the people or government?
Yeah germany, recognize taiwan, fck the car lobby
Yeah france, recognize taiwan, fck the luxury industry
Yeah netherlands, recognize taiwan, fck the dairy lobby
Yeah america, recognize taiwan already, fck detroit / tech lobby
I’m very proud of Lithuanians. EU countries can stand shoulder to shoulder and give a protection to the small European country. But now Lithuania faces problems with China and is alone in this struggle.
should have asked eu for a united position before they started this … not after
