It really bothers me that they couldn’t make up their mind about what a paragraph was in the full 2 pages.
All capital letters on IMPORTANT words!
The undercover unionists gave themselves away with that title.
“There is two primary schools”
They clearly didn’t pay much attention while they were in one.
Get a proofreader lads.
So they were told it was going to house homeless families but continued to protest the single males?
Are they saying NO to education?
Who’s we, they keep meaning we, but there’s no name number or contact details
How many refugees are currently housed in ringsend? Surely they could absorb 70 odd people and integrate them it’s not like sticking 70 people into a rural town
The authority that some people feel they have to speak on behalf of a community is absurd.
The notion that they should be consulted on issues as regular members of the public is another ridiculous assertion.
Im a concerned parent, these wankers concern me
I’d love to run a red pen across this screed.
“We are neither racist or anti immigration nor are we anti-Refugee or anti Asylum Seeker”
Odd thing to say a few paragraphs after implying they’re all pedophiles/rapists.
They forgot to sign it: Anne Arsonist
I like how the letter accidentally slips that they know someone set fire to the pub after spending so much of the second page explaining an alternate tale of why a member of their group was at the pub at the time the fire started.
All boils down to this really…
**”very concerned for the Safety and Well-being of our children, the elderly and the women of our community”**

The arbitrary use of capitals gives the game away.
**They believe that the immigrants (particularly single men) are here with the express purpose of attacking, molesting and/or raping their children, women and elderly.** Same underlying racist motive for all the “protests” taking place around the country.

I wonder if we have ever seen this kind of racist, ill-informed approach to immigration before? Perhaps from the lessons of early Irish emigrants to America?? Perhaps with a dash of burning buildings???
**”Anti-Catholic, anti-Irish mobs in Philadelphia destroyed houses and torched churches in the deadly Bible Riots of 1844. New York Archbishop John Hughes responded by building a wall of his own around Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral in order to protect it from the native-born population, and he stationed musket-wielding members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians to guard the city’s churches.** ***Wild conspiracy theories took root that women were held against their will in Catholic convents and that priests systematically raped nuns and then strangled any children born as a result of their union.*****”**
Sound familiar?
**”The discrimination faced by the famine refugees was not subtle or insidious. It was right there in black and white, in** [**newspaper classified advertisement**](http://www.history.com/news/teen-debunks-professors-claim-that-anti-irish-signs-never-existed)**s that blared “No Irish Need Apply.” T*****he image of the simian Irishman, imported from Victorian England, was given new life by the pens of illustrators such as Thomas Nast that dripped with prejudice as they sketched Celtic ape-men with sloping foreheads and monstrous appearances.”***
I believe that the Irish people should learn from our own collective history of emigration.
The Irish are [a nation of refugees](https://genius.com/26475378) and our people suffered terrible discrimination wherever they went.
Now is the time for us to show some compassion and understanding for those less fortunate; not to jump on the bandwagon of hate, misinformation and fear mongering.
There are no quick or easy solutions to the difficulties of housing we face now but we should treat everyone (until we are given reason otherwise) with the same decency and respect we would have expected our forefathers/foremothers to receive.
The irony of the flats across the road 🙄
No issues there no? That social housing solution is fine?
I would respect all of these idiots a lot more if they just came out and said that they just hate black and brown people, coz that’s all this is.
Ringsend says no to coherence, apparently.
Concerned residents*. (*bunch of cunts)
Huge back peddling there…”We’re not the bad guys, we tried to save the day”!
No! You lot were the catalyst to the fire with your protest about your so-called “concern”!
Why not sign your names if you’ve nothing to hide and you’re such heroic saviours of the community?
I live in a wealthy Dublin suburb. Last year, without any consultation, 200 refugees were placed in a building that neighbours my home. It has had no impact at all.
The apex predator, the single male with time on his hands.
Is the consensus that we don’t want single males in general in “the community”?
I dug into one of these nonsense things once. It was a letter pretending to be from some council of “Irish lawyers” against drag queens. Ended up being linked to a sock account for an EDL org in the UK. No Irish person nor lawyer ever associated with it that I could find, but it still got quoted in the press.
The amplification of this shit is so ridiculous.
I Was temporarily added to the “Ringsend says no “WhatsApp group. I Can confirm that they are indeed lying when they say “We are neither racist or anti immigration nor are we anti-Refugee or anti Asylum Seeker”.
Can we squeeze in the phrase “concerned parents” as often as possible, then add it in a few more times?
Desperate whiff of a few ‘males of military age’ down the pub about this.
The name alone gives a fairly big hint as to the response any consultation would have gotten.
One interesting thing is they talk about schools and a woman’s refuge being within 30-350 yards of the proposed center. Yards Is a strange unit of measurement to use in Ireland surely? Would be more common in UK or America I think
Why can’t these chucklefucks at least get someone who made it past junior cert English to write their shite.
