He comes across very well here. None of the deference to Gaeilge that RTÉ leans so heavily on, but obvious respect and (obviously on-brand) connection to his genetic heritage, the country, and the language.
No cynicism here, let the man enjoy his heritage.

I’m so glad Tubs didn’t do this interview, it would’ve been an absolute cringefest watching him suck the life out of Conan’s jokes.
