I’m pay as you go most things. The things I’m not and it says I owe them minus something usually means they’re paying me. Not sure if that’s the case here, but it even happened with my phone bill once.
Normally the charge is £xx but it was £-xx and they paid me. Same with an adjustment on pension.
I’m 89 in credit. Thanks everyone.
It’s a credit off of your government credit. It will sit on the account and be deduced from your next bill. By that stage, you should have another credit depending on your bill cycle, so hopefully, you won’t have another bill again.

Aye, wondering how much longer this energy credit stuff will last? Genuinely seems too good to be true. My bill was 75€ which for 2 months seemed unfathomable but unbelievably welcome
My electricity charges dropped in November. I only noticed yesterday when I was looking up new providers, coz it’s that time of year 😀
Now I have to stay with this crowd until all my credit is used up
It’s not the worst country in the world sometimes made me laugh. Do you even realise what happened or did it go over your head.
Electricity has gone up over 100% has actually tripled in the past 6 years, to the point it was really noticed, so a fraction was given back to you to keep you happy and queit, and it worked 💪. You’ll pay it back over the course of the year.
Now i get not all government ls have intervened like this and the price had gone up anyway so something back is nice but over all, we all got scammed. Again.
€386 for Gas fpr October to December.
But free electricty for 2-3 months.
I sold my microwave, blender, toaster, kettle, waffle iron, clothes iron, meat grill, tumble drier, washing machine, downsizes my fridge, buy only what I can use in 3 days. Got a smaller TV screen, LCD very low power, changed all my light bulbs to SMD and cob lights all below 3 watts, I bought draught tape for both sides of my doors and windows, tinted my windows with Infrared film and shower at my local JD gym.
I basically live in 1962 Glasgow again, isn’t progress fantastic😂
Yes I eat most cold foods and sleep with a hot water bottle. My utilities have gone down 85% and I’m still broke as shit.
