Maybe, but we can be sure all the Republicans who voted against this will try to take credit for it.
No.
Will democrats take notice? Yes. Will Republicans? No.
They sure won’t
If I’m understanding this article correctly this only affects those with Medicare. If so It’s not as sweeping as the title makes it sound and voters who do not qualify for Medicare may be underwhelmed.
Probably not, because democrats fail on messaging 200% of the time.
So yes, the lower cost of insulin for people on Medicare is benefitting Biden.
Everyone that buys it will notice, but a certain collective of idiots (maga types) will proudly vote against changes like this if it owns the libs. Even if it costs them a substantial amount more on life saving necessities that they must buy for themselves.
No because we’ll get 900 more headlines about the recession that’s been coming since Jan 6 2021 from the MSM and “liberal media” instead.
Plenty of Republican voters will definitely notice, but they will never attribute the lower drug prices to Joe Biden. They know it happened because of him, but their partisan hackery and cult devotion won’t allow for common sense and reality to prevail.
I mean likely they won’t realistically if they’re not using insulin. I imagine non-diabetics don’t really keep up or realize the cost of it. It’s just not something that comes up in their lives outside of a news headline.
No, because nobody who’s still on the fence is going to change their minds because of anything reasonable.
Will they? Check out r/WhatBidenHasDone and let me know how many of these things folk don’t know about. Our media outlets want salacious conflict driven headlines.
But I thought Obama is running the WH still? Don’t the MAGA cultists believe this is actually Obama’s third term?
I don’t need it but I am so glad over this, I just know Trump would never have done it.
Nope snd there’s a real risk Democrats will flake out just like they did in 2016.
No. Biden is the worst communicator ever.
Trump voters will think trump did its
He’s also looking to ensure we produce more of it in the states instead of relying on overseas:
I work in pharmacy and unless it’s zero cost to patients, nobody will care.
Yeah that’s great and all but it was intended to be *free*
Nah cuh
While I am happy for Medicare recipients getting their cap, as a Type 1 diabetic in his mid 30’s, I am completely over this “LOOK WE MADE INSULIN CHEAPER” farce. This is a step in the right direction don’t get me wrong. Until ALL brand names of insulin are capped at this price (or any other cap for that matter) I will just end up shrugging my shoulders. I don’t think people realize how many types of insulin there actually are and just how different they work for each individual. This was a good step but we need to come down harder on the pharma and insurance companies.
Of course not. We have fish brains. If it didn’t literally just pass we will forget about it by Election Day.
Republican politicians will probably take credit for it.
No we want free healthcare
Too bad it’s for older insulins, not the newest (and better formulations). And insulin pump and CGMs still cost a shit ton
