  1. If he isnt able to bounce back like he promised it will be Argentinas demise

  2. There’s a medal for that but they might not like that…

  3. Correction: Everyfuckingwhere’s annual inflation soars to 211.4% the highest in the world…..until it goes up more.

  4. In my experience, when someone takes over an already dysfunctional operation and starts making sweeping changes… they usually find out how it got that way reeeeeeaaaaaal fast.

  5. If you educate a fool, all you end up with is an educated fool

  6. I’m beginning to think this Milei guy might not be the subtle genius his supporters keep claiming he is.

  7. That’s what the get for electing a cross of Joaquin Phoenix and Trunp

  8. But I heard from “china is collapsing now” peter zeihan that Argentina was on its way to being a superpower?

  9. So…. Voting in some fool who swings chainsaws around and is seriously infatuated to multiple clones of his dog was not a good idea????

    Who woulda thunk

  10. I’m confused why everyone’s so emotional about Argentina. Are you all related to Argentina in some way? Or is it the ideology that bothers you?

  11. We really won’t know anything of how this will work for months. This is a multi pronged rebuild of the entire economy. I’m not sure any of it will work, but nobody will know until maybe next year.

  12. I think it’s the fault of the guy who took power 3 weeks ago and not the century of economic mismanagement by the whole argentine system

  13. I cant imagine how brutal that must be, i was losing my shit at 10%

  14. “Oh, hey, guy just got in power, give him time!”

People will see a pile of shit with their own eyes and will refuse to believe it’s shit.

  15. It will be interesting if some other countries who are considering leaders with similar political views make the same decision Argentina’s voters did.

  16. If at first your currency fails, try, try, try, and try again.

    Most currencies don’t last.

  17. lol nice, heading to Buenos Aires tomorrow. Was already pretty stoked about prices. Definitely feel bad for everyone in the country that will feel negative reproductions from this in the future though…

  18. This is a great time to buy Argentinan currency and to wait for conversion back to your currency in a few decades!

  19. when you’re in the comment section remember Milei pays troll farms to post nice things about him online

  20. This isn’t anything to worry about. The problem will eventually resolve itself.

In time, Argentinians will evolve and their women will bear children immune to inflation. Then we can interbreed with them and thus solve this problem once and for all!

  21. So he himself said that they would abandon their own currency, and then who needs it?I am rather surprised that after his statement about the transition to the dollar, inflation did not soar by thousands of percent.

  22. He did say things were going to get worse first before they get better…

  23. Shameless to put the photo of the guy who took power 3 weeks ago

  24. Huge inflation is the most socialistic thing. It effectively destroys all liquid wealth.

  25. I recently wrote an assignment on inflation in Argentina and its social and political implications. In it, I predicted at least 200% inflation by the end of the month. Boy, was I off the mark.

  26. Everyone around me regrets having voted for this fraud. It’s sad, let’s just hope it doesn’t continue to get worse. He lied to us all, he laughs at his own voters and retirees.
He looks a lot like hugo chavez, he is a megalomaniac mythomaniac populist.

  27. Quick distract the plebs – let’s talk about The Falklands
