Giuntoli: We have decided to close the market. We won’t sign any player (except Tiago Djaló)

  1. Real shame, really don’t feel comfortable fielding a potential midfield of Nicolussi, Miretti + x if there’s any injuries or suspensions in our midfield.

But I think this only confirms that we are really broke. We can’t even sign Djalo without waiting for Ranocchia it seems.

  2. If we lack the funds to sign an improvement in the midfield then its better to not waste what little we have on future deadwood.

  3. What about Bernardeschi? He could join for free until summer and his statistics are not too bad. He played 31 matches – 2609’ which makes an average of nearly 84 minutes per match. He scored 5 goals and contributed with 2 assists. Looking at this, he seems to be in good shape. Not like Henderson or Phillips, those players were nearly only on the bench.

  4. Serie A winter market has been the deadest ever

  5. What were people expecting? We’re only competing domestically and we are comfortably in 2nd while our rivals have continental competitions. Why spend money we don’t have if our prize ceiling is limited?

The same lot who complain Vlahovic was a waste of money want to blow money.
