Winter rains have exacerbated the dire humanitarian situation in the Palestinian enclave, where the UN estimates 1.9 million – nearly 85 percent of the population – have been displaced. “It’s not safe in our homes nor outside,” said the owner of a destroyed house in the Gaza Strip. “Where can we possibly go?” FRANCE 24 Catherine Viette brings us more with this report.

  4. Poor Gazans never had a chance with a regime like Hamas bent on sacrificing them for political sympathy! Haniyeh himself said blood of children, women, and elderly of Gaza was needed by Hamas. Hamas brought a war to a highly populated area knowing it had zero bomb shelters though it’s buildings were full of explosives, booby traps, land mines, and 300 miles of tunnels were built to protect the military. Absolutely shameful of Hamas to use its own civilians this way!

  10. Since when did humanity become "unstained"? One thing is for sure, UN's virtue signaling is allowing the aberrant portions of modern humanity to further stain it. Putin, Iran, China and all their proxy games should be called out directly. But no, UN has become its protector. De-fund the UN. Make a new international group – Western and Democratic Allies versus autocrats and dictators. That is a better representation of the world today.
