Russian rocket launcher destroyed by Ukrainian fire in Avdiivka
Footage has emerged reportedly showing a Russian TOS-1A thermobaric multiple rocket launcher exploding after taking Ukrainian fire on the eastern flank of the city of Avdiivka.
It comes as Ukraine was said to be inflicting “significant losses” on Russian forces attacking its bridgehead over the Dnipro river.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW), a US-based think tank, said Russia’s attempts to push Ukrainian soldiers back over the river are failing because of “persistent command and communication problems” that are causing large numbers of casualties.
