UN agency chiefs say Gaza needs more aid to arrive faster, warning of famine and disease

Frantic crowds scramble onto Aid trucks hoping to get their hands on any food inside for gazin humanitarian Aid is a Lifeline that allows them to survive another day we need the most important goods like flour for example for almost a month now we’ve been living without

Flour and only eating rice but it’s not enough to live on and it’s causing health problems among some people we really need flour and water Aid has been trickling into Gaza via the South but nowhere near enough to meet the needs the delivery hobbled by a slow vetting process for goods going into

Gaza and continued fighting Across The Enclave the UN warns gaza’s population faces widespread famine and disease if it does not receive the aid it needs in time as Palestinians near a Tipping Point food and water are scarse an expensive whenever available it’s unbearably crowded we only have drinking water every 2 days

And non-drinking water every 3 or 4 days when you have to wait in line for hours life is not easy conditions are very harsh everywhere and every day is worse than the day before the bitter winter cold has made the dire situation even more critical this as almost 2 million displaced

People are sleeping in tents and other makeshift shelters with outdoor fires as the only means of heating

Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, sparked by the militant group’s Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel, has prompted unprecedented destruction in the tiny coastal enclave and triggered a humanitarian catastrophe that has displaced most of Gaza’s 2.3 million population and pushed more than a quarter into starvation, according to the UN.
