  1. he strikes me as a bit of a dull weird personality that players will never get truly behind

  2. No they definitely do mate.

One of the biggest players tweeted about you and now another’s gone on the piss and missed training knowing he’s gonna be back in the squad anyways

  3. Even having to mention this is an admittance that it’s not wholly true

  4. It’s not just about lack of respect for the manager. It’s about lack of respect to the club, teammates and fans. However this is the result of a decade long build-up and numerous wrong decisions taken at the top management level. You reap what you sow.

  5. Imagine Alex Ferguson, Pep Guardiola or Jürgen Klopp having to make this statement 💀💀

  6. He just doesn’t strike me as a warm/personable man manager. There’s nothing really about him that i can see players getting behind, be that humour, empathy, compassion, professional cachet etc. You could argue Mourinho wasn’t warm/empathic (as an example), but he was funny and you respected him because he was/is an elite manager who knows his shit/won multi-league trophies.

I don’t know. I mean, did Ole GS have any issues with players not turning up/being disrespectful, i can’t remember?
