  1. How unfortunate. Hope they can get issues rectified soon; NATO needs a strong RN.

  2. Has that damn boat been able to launch *once* without something fucking up?

  3. Someone needs to explain that just because they’re playing the Russia side in the exercise, they don’t need to have their side’s flagship inoperable.

  4. UK navy ain’t what it used to be, but yet they are ranked by ISW of having the second greatest firepower in Europe?

  5. TL;DR but do we really have to report every focking thing right away?! 🙄 I’m ok not knowing if it’s a national security risk. Why tell the entire world of a military weakness?!

  6. Sounds like the British economy isn’t the only thing hitting the buffers

  7. This is why the UK chose to have two carriers instead of 1 bigger one, redundancy in case something goes wrong, HMS Prince of Wales is taking her place instead.

  8. Holy fucken christ does no one on reddit read the article anymore?

It always been bad but this particular comment section is taking the cake

  9. Damn, did’nt know it had Takata airbags…shame

  10. Why does the UK have an aircraft carrier but we (Australia) don’t?

  11. Big surprise. Europe shits the bed again and relies on America.

  12. It’s a shame the UKs carriers aren’t nuclear, there’s a level of prestige that only a nuclear ship can provide.
