The Palestinian militant group Hamas was still studying a proposed ceasefire deal on Sunday. As the world awaits an official response from Hamas, it is clear that internal divisions are emerging, says FRANCE 24’s Claire Paccalin, reporting from Ashdod, Israel. While Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza, wants to secure a pause in the fighting in Gaza, Hamas’s political leaders based in Qatar are pushing for a permanent ceasefire and real guarantees of a plan to rebuild Gaza once the war with Israel ends, says Paccalin.

  1. Shame on Arab countries especially Saudi Arabia,Qatar,Jordan, Egypt and UAE.The 57 Muslim countries hate them and doesn't consider them in their brotherhood.

  2. They simply DON'T CARE for people of Gaza. They're trying to save their skin wgile living on luxury in Catar. 4 month of war, the gaza strip destroyed, thousands of people hurt or killed, desplaced, hungry, but because they still living in Catar they dont care.
Israel will prevail, total victory, no less, no ceasefire. 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱

  3. Hamas is just another organized crime family. Apply pressure, and the capos beginning look out for themselves instead of their bosses.

  4. 26.000 dead and only 120 hostages .

THE WORLD SEES CLEARLY THAT HAMAS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT GAZA!!!!
How many more will die until you surrender Hamas ?

  5. Free Hostages then discuss ceasefire will be very destructive for Palestine and Gaza as Apartheid Israel State cannot be trusted, Netanyahu does not want a ceasefire nor 60% of Israelis, those negotiators are they on a different planet, we are witnessing since ICJ left the door ajar, how the killings still happening supported by UK/USA and Cyprus Government with their Dracula’s nightly raids

  6. This is just a power play between hamas leaders trying to outplay each
to show that one of them did it more than the other ,,,,their disagreement
is good for Israel bcoz it means the group is divided on what to do 😢😅

  7. Why hamad coll gor ceasefire..when hamas open war on 7 oct…Hamad acknowledged result will be after the war..Stand with IDF..😂

  8. The leaders living in European mansions are tiring of travel for negotiations and missing steak dinners and quality dinner wine.
