Hmph! Sunak is in such desperate climes that his explanation is all over the place. This merely convinces me that he's panicking – I can see it in him! No surprise there for as 43 years of age, he is prone to panic. He had a good chance of getting things back on an even keel, looked like as if he was going to! Unfortunately, events have proved otherwise. And we have this! A Prime Minister hopelessly stuck in a position of total discomfort and not enough pragmatic members in his cabinet! I may lack experience in some instances and areas but I'm relevant in one part. I'm older than him by almost 18 years and can read the lay of the land pretty well! He's in total panic mode. No way forward but only one way out. His desperate words on Boris Johnson indicating as such. He'll be calling for a general election before November, and it'll be the midpoint of this year!
