Strikes on Gaza’s Rafah as US warns of potential ‘disaster’ • FRANCE 24 English

Gutted from top to bottom these survivors dig through the rubble of what’s left of their homes after Israeli forces intensified bombing in the southern Gaza City of Rua look at that room whilst I was covered in rocks they pulled a little girl from under the rubble nothing was left not even a

Window or door what did we do to deserve this the overnight air strikes K’s Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu rejected hamas’s ceasefire proposal in lie of an absolute Victory and said he’d ordered his troops to push into the Border City the same place where over half of gaza’s interally displaced population is

Sheltering three missiles hit the same spot I’m standing in and I wish we could have collected their bodies but all we had were pieces we’re all hearing that there will be a ground incursion into Rafa I hope things settle before that happens as there’s Now 1 and a half million displaced people here

Both Aid agencies and the United Nations have warned that a military push into Rafa would be a humanitarian catastrophe I am particularly worried by reports that the Israeli military intends to focus neft on Rafa Al of gaza’s population is now crammed into Rafa they have nowhere to go they have

No homes and they have no hope all of these underscores the need for full respect for international humanitarian law including the protection of civilians and ensuring that essential needs are met with rer being a crucial entry point for Aid into Gaza the White House has stated it would not support

Any military operation in the Border City at this time

Israel conducted fresh strikes on southern Gaza’s overcrowded border town of Rafah on Friday, where more than a million displaced Palestinians have sought shelter, with key backer the United States warning of a looming “disaster”. 1. As if the Israeli government needs the US or it's allies to tell them this. Just keep sending them military and save your finger at what their doing. It's pathetic…

  2. The US publicly expresses concern for the refugees, but behind the scenes, to Israel, it's like "don't mind us, that was PR".

  3. So that the humanitarian crisis is averted, this is Egypt's opportunity to do the right thing and open the border to hundreds-of-thousands of refugees from Rafah. Same applies to Qatar and the other Gulf States.

  4. For those of the US who are inclined towards giving Joe Biden a political kicking this 2024, they need to tread lightly and be mindful that if they enable Trump to get re-elected, many of them stand to be deported for being insufficiently American, when they get Trump and all that comes with his Stalinist reign of terror. Is to have the back of Hamas really worth it ??

  5. Well, they supported Hamas and Hamas attacked their neighbors 😛

They allowed Hamas to rule Gaza after overthrowing the established democratic system…

  6. Gutierrez is the most hypocrite leader I hv ever seen. He is so loud about Gaza like that’s the only refugee problem in this world. God will always win

  7. Why are you not mentioning that the imagery filmed in Gaza is only filmed under Hamas supervision? You should be making that fully transparent.

These are propaganda images meant to evoke feelings in us and do not represent the actual full reality in Gaza.

  8. The true is that NOBODY wants them. None of the Arab league countries, no their neighbours Egypt and Jordan expelled them, so did Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria etc BECAUSE of their TERRORIST activities in those countries.
