Why not just go for Miguel instead? Like Mendy is much better defensively, and Fran is very promising on the attack. I’d personally get Miguel and Yan Couto instead tbh.

Not a good idea to go for Yan Couto, he’ll get nightmares every time he sees Vini in practice
What’s wrong with Davies? He’s young and very talented, seems like he’d be a good fit. Will probably be kind of expensive but don’t really see what’s wrong with them signing him.
What are some people in this thread talking about? Davies is one of the best LBs in the world and miles ahead of Mendy when it comes to attacking. He is going to be amazing with Vini on the left side.

I haven’t seen any significant indications to this.
Miguel is the same age as Alphonso, and frankly, Alphonso is much better than him or Miguel.
Let’s have some faith. We have been one of the best teams in squad planning around lately, we have been able to replace Navas, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, CR7, Bale, Casemiro. We still won a CL without them (only Case still there).
We have the best young squad we can dream of with Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde, Bellingham, Vini, Rodrygo, Brahim and Arda.
If our management feels we need to go for Davies, who are we to second guess them?
Just remember what Davies did to Barcelona….a defender 💪🏼
