In 1 season, we had 6 El Clasicos. The world stopped for Barca-Real games. That era was tremendous.”

2. Cristiano’s bullet header to win the Cup, and the one where he rounded Valdez to clinch the League on their ground a year later are definitely Mou’s best Clasico moments, some all timer Iconic ones at that.

5. I dislike him as a coach because of how he treated some of the club legends, but there is no denying that he is one of the most important coaches in RM’s history. He brought in the change of attitude that was needed to compete against Messi’s Barca. And that attitude is evident till date. Carlo/Zidane took all that and with proper man management, got results.

Without Mourinho, I doubt RM could have ended Barca reign of terror, at least not as fast, he was a very important manager for Madrid in my opinion, his antics and mind game using the media is probably one of the main reason why Pep left and took his break, if Pep had stayed at Barca for longer it’d have been a lot worse for us. Set up the team mentality for Ancelotti future successes too, bad man management but definitely worth it looking back now. El Clasico during his time was truly special, Mourinho vs Pep, Ronaldo vs Messi etc… Unforgetable, old friends turned rival, you couldn’t have written a better script.
