Severe flooding in California triggers mudslides and destruction | DW News

Heavy storms have battered California with torrential rainfall, causing severe flooding and landslides. Falling trees have claimed three lives and hundreds of thousands of people are without power. Extreme weather forecasts are still in place for large parts of the state.

    I am either covered in ash, being beaten up by the sun with an orange sky,
    Or
    I am covered in rain, being thrown around by the wind, with flooded muddy streets
