Interesting name. Is Dales supposed to mean valley? The danish word for valley is Dal/Dale(plural)
Gods own country as we like to say.
I always imagined this is the landscape described in wuthering heights, am I in the right area geographically?
Gorgeous! Looks just like where I live in the Apennines. What is the red plant? Here, bilberries are that colour in autumn.
Might be a stupid question but… where are the trees?
Time to go 50 miles in a straight line
God, it looks like a fantasy world
Gods country.
I’m getting Princess Bride vibes
What’s the plant of the red cover mountain
Remind me how much I like Yorkshire
Nice Dales…where are the Roys???
This place is beautiful.
I’m convinced the national parks and AONB in Great Britain would be a big international destination for nature hiking if lodging there wasn’t so expensive.
But given how hard it is to control mass-tourism, maybe it’s for the best.
