  1. What he is saying is true
The reason why is because other countries do the same and it does work
And the reason why this is being done this way is because we can not let them back on the boats as they might die at sea plus France don't want to do there job as it costs them
But these people don't want this to happen because it generate money for them and they will lose their job because they can't work for the people

  2. If you land in any Country illegally, then you should be locked up, not put in comfy accommodation and given this that and the other, we don't know who they are and as has happened, some are criminals who are fleeing their Country and some are committing crimes when they get here.

  3. Nobody is asking the most obvious question about all this. Why Rwanda? I want to know the thinking behind it, and why we cant just protect our borders like we've done for thousands of years?

  4. He is correct we need a deterrent. Stop collecting illegal immigrants from the beaches and taking them straight to hotels.

  5. If this deterrent works I’m gonna pretend to be an illegal immigrant so I can get free flights to Africa for a holiday 😂.

  6. Such a shameless populist. Anyone aware of knowledge and context in international affairs know that asylum seekers can’t just hop on a plane to the UK legally, since when they line up at the British embassy and sort out their documents before they go to their airport are announcing their disapproval of whatever persecution they are escaping and puts them at immediate risk of harm. Also, they can’t just escape into Turkey and then go to the British embassy because the Turks don’t allow them. It’s very rare an asylum seeker won’t be able to come here illegally, it just takes some basic logic. But they pursue this policy because they know people don’t like illegal immigration. If you survey someone and ask “are you in favour of illegal migration” of course any regular person would say “well of course not”. So the tories can get away with another populist policy in an attempt to downgrade to a catastrophic defeat from an annihilation in the next election. When Rishi came into power, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought out of all the recent PMs he would have some intelligence and integrity but he’s just any other regular tory.

  7. Someone needs to do something, for many years nothing has been done. When are the left going to realise economic migrants are a huge drain on public resources. They have crossed 6-10 countries to specifically get here due to the benefits system, free housing, schooling, hospitals, dentists.
They are not seeking asylum or they would have done so in the first country they land in.
Prisons are full of them, it is simply not sustainable to just keep letting them in. If they were genuine apply for a visa.
There are homeless people being queue jumped by migrants. When are you going to face reality and realise there are people without food and heating and they cannot afford to subsidise migrants that get food, housing and heating for free. Try getting to see a dentist. A migrant can.
Saying there are jobs required to be filled is not correct. They are a negative tax. If you stopped immigration, cut the millions claiming to have imaginary mental health problems along with the carers and attendance allowance ( not the genuine ones, just the ones who use it to subsidise their weed smoking lifestyle) and stop giving aid to countries that do not need it. Problem solved.
