To nullify these sort of empty attacks, Sadiq could start dressing head to toe in tweed, tipping his bowler hat to every passing lady, being seen to be permanently quaffing ale from a dimpled pint glass while quoting Byron and Shakespeare at length to the press in a cockney accent, in between blowing smoke rings of plum tobacco from his church warden pipe to entertain any nearby children.
My point is: the criticisms of Sadiq are mostly all surface, they instead focus on the demographic he is, panicking that ‘they’ are taking over. They couldn’t name a single policy he’s initiated for London.
His words were unhelpful, here’s why….
It gave the Islamists, the left and the msm a chance to flip the narrative from MPs being threatened about votes to racism (islam is still not a race), this is a chance they all of course have jumped at.
They did the same after arena bombing, and after MP David Amess was murdered by extremists.
They don’t want to talk about the extremists they have forced upon the population, anything else will do.
