We probably hv 4 Ballon Dor winners in the starting line up. But with Becks playin mostly as CM without proper DCM to cover our ever so vulnerable backline, it can be very hard to watch this team playing at times. It cld be worst, if not because of the brilliance of San Iker on goal.

We end up trophyless that season & only manage to qualify to the Round of 16 in UCL, finishing 2nd behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Group Stage. What’s your take on this team? Yay or nay?

  1. Walter Samuel is the only “pure defensive” player in that 11 and he was out of form too, no wonder we struggled so bad with that team.

  2. Yeah and the only things they win was experience 😂😂😂
    That was a period of PlayStation team making.. And not looking for needs in defence

  3. Yeah, it was a terrible season. First trophyless season since 95-96, all transfers were bad and overall forgettable.

  4. And nowadays if you win a world cup you automatically get Ballon d’Or for the next 4 years as well
